The inspiration for these small-scale works often comes from specific or randomly selected steps in the creative process. They consist of collage elements, fragments of all kinds, strokes, lines, shapes, colors, splatters, stencils, personal typographic symbols, and text characters—simply a variety of techniques combined into an imaginative mix on a special background, here dominated by earthy tones.
